SNF FLOMIN C products are widely used for the flotation of copper, lead, zinc, gold, nickel, platinum group elements and others. Although our base products consist of the traditional known chemistries, we also have active programs in place for developing site specific blends and new products across the froth flotation spectrum.

FROTHERS
Based on individual site needs, and through our FloMin F range of frothers, we can offer alcohol, glycols, glycol ethers and blends of proprietary chemicals well-suited to enhancing frother performance. Mineral sectors served are base metal sulphides, precious metals (gold, silver, PGEs), industrial minerals, coal and various other non-sulphides.
We offer proven replacement frothers for Dowfroth 250 and MIBC.

DEPRESSANTS AND ACTIVATORS
The FLOMIN D products specifically cover organic and inorganic chemistries with Nokes reagent, widely used as a copper depressant in Moly flotation circuits a major product line. Sodium Thioglycolate is becoming more popular as a depressant. As an activator we can offer sodium hydrosulphide (NaSH) in either a solid and provide fully engineered solution preparation systems.
A new product FLOMIN 4810 provides iron depressant capabilities in Copper/Moly circuits. It can be used independently or in a blend with IPETC in the form of Flomin 7810 which acts as an excellent collector while depressing iron simultaneously.
We also carry a full line of Gangue depressants.

FLOCCULANTS
Large quantities of water are used in the mining industry in order to separate valuable ore from its gangue and, at some stage in the process, it is necessary to separate the solids from the liquid phase.
The FLOMIN flocculants are used for density control in thickeners, as a rheology modifier in the concentrate thickeners, to increase solids for shipment, in the slimes dams for dewatering and overall for water reclamation.
The use of FLOMIN filter aids and flocculants in these operations has the possibility to enhance performance whilst reducing costs. These products can be used under the most extreme temperatures and pH conditions.
